Autumn is just around the corner meaning it will soon be time to start planning winter wardrobes and in particular the Christmas season outfits and for me that can mean only one thing. Dresses!
Dresses along with handbags are a subject close to my heart. In fact I feel more comfortable in a dress than a tracksuit; that’s not to say I walk round glammed up all the time – far from it.
I’ve always loved dresses, for me they’re an obvious choice: versatile, fun and feminine even when they paired with Wellington boots and chunky knit tights!
I’ve been faithful to the one piece even when it was spending a few years at the back of the fashion line but now they’re back and bang on trend I’m spoilt for choice.
When I was pregnant last year I found it a nightmare to find clothes that not only fit and were comfortable but allowed me to remain looking like me, and then I remembered ASOS. Their maternity range is a dream, when looking through I often forgot that it was indeed designed to accommodate my ever-growing bump. On top of style is the price, let’s face it we’re not pregnant for long so the price tag should reflect this and with ASOS being affordable it’s so easy to create the perfect maternity wardrobe stuffed with pretty yet practical dresses.
ASOS also offer a Curve and Petite range. The new ranges have just hit the website meaning even more choice ready for the Christmas party season.
Having struggled to shift the baby weight I can say that I am super tempted to stock up on the biscuits just so I can creep up a size or two to fit into this gorgeous party dress from ASOS Curve!
Just like a good friend ASOS has been with me through my experimental days as a teenager (I can remember ASOS being my first attempt at online shopping!) to my fashion forward and statement conscious time as a student; heck they even helped me look less frumpy bump and more bumpalicious while I was pregnant with Boo.
Nowadays my social calendar may not be overflowing with invitations like it use to be and my first reaction when scheduling an event is childcare instead of the perfect clutch for the chosen dress but one thing is for certain: a quick visit to ASOS while sipping a cup of tea surrounded by a mountain of chores belonging in suburbia and the Rosie I love and know is back, lusting after pretty dresses and planning the next addition to my jam packed wardrobe.
