Operation Yummy Mummy V2.013

I can’t pretend that I’m carrying baby weight anymore – the truth is that at this rate we’ll be able to call it child of school age weight so the time has come to get serious in with Operation Yummy Mummy. Back in November I pledged to run a 10K this year to fundraise for Bliss and I want to make sure that I do my best to raise as much as possible.

From past experience I know that I respond best to an equal measure of carrot and stick, however I’ve always struggled to lose more than a pound a week even with exercise and healthy eating. So this time as well as cutting down on treats and portion size not to mention increasing my exercise to a minimum of 5 time a week I’m taking part in the XLS Medical 123 hello me programme.

XLS Medical is clinically proven and naturally derived product that helps bind dietary fat to increase weight loss by up to three times than on you own. It doesn’t claim to be a magic pill and we all know no such thing exists instead I’m hoping it will help to keep me on track with motivation and weight loss – fingers crossed!

XLS Medical

I started taking XLS this morning with 2 tablets immediately after each meal and my first impressions are:

– the tablets themselves are pretty hefty but not as big as some supplements I’ve taken in the past
– the after taste is pretty yuk and takes a good few glasses of water to get rid of
– I’ve experienced complete loss of appetite (no bad thing) and struggled to eat a small lunch; the feeling of fullness has continued int the afternoon.

The 123 hello me programme is 12 weeks long and in this time I’m hoping to lose 15-20 pounds to help me keep on track for running a 10k later on this year.

I’ll let you know how I’m getting on each week with weight loss and side effects if any!

Wish me good luck and don’t forget to follow my progress on #operationyummymummy on twitter.

Disclaimer: I have received a 12-week supply of XLS Medical for the purpose of review. No payment has been received and all opinions are 100% honest I promise.
